Welcome to the Interdisciplinary and Professional Studies (IPS) Graduate Student Organization (GSO) for the College of Arts & Sciences at the University of Miami.
The IPS GSO is the student-run organization for Masters and PhD students from graduate programs within the College of Arts & Sciences. We serve as the link between graduate students and the greater Miami community. We organize various events and activities throughout the school year designed to connect students to other students, along with staff, faculty, and alumni.
The College of Arts & Sciences is the largest academic unit in the university and the IPS GSO represents students across the College's 20 departments and 15 interdisciplinary programs.
Our Mission
- Deepen the connection that the students have with faculty, staff, alumni, and other students.
- Provide an atmosphere that encourages students to engage in events, professional development, research and writing support, and provide mental relief as well.
- Aid in providing students access to the resources and tools that will further their professional and academic interests.
- Serve as the voice of the student body to College administration.
